IF you have a fever, cough, and cold-like symptoms, but you have NOT had close contact with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases Do not go to the emergency room, hospital, nursing home, or outpatient facilities; Contact your general practitioner or our hospital by phone; Stay at home and limit your travel as much as possible; Wash your hands with alcoholic gel or soap and water as often as possible. Staff, doctors, the public, and all those who access the facility are advised to comply with the provisions of the shared protocol for regulation measures to combat and contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the workplace. The Protocol was signed on Saturday, 14 March, 2020 at the invitation of the President of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of the Economy, the Minister of Labor and Social Policies, the Minister of Economic Development and the Minister of Health, who held the meeting with several social partners. The regulation measures – contained in article 1, first paragraph, number 9 of the 11 March 2020 decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (in relation to professional and production activities) – have been agreed to by employers’ and trade union organizations, in particular:

  • Obligation of workers to stay home in the presence of a fever (over 37.5 °) or other flu-like symptoms and to call your general practitioner and the health authority.
  • Employers should inform their workers that they may not enter the workplace if, during the last 14 days, they have had contact with individuals who are infected by the virus. The Provision requires that the employee remain at home and a general practitioner and Health Authority to be informed.

Diagnostic tests and specialist visits Diagnostic tests and necessary visits continue for all specialties. If you have symptoms of respiratory conditions such as cough, runny nose, sneezing, and/or flu-like symptoms, please contact the clinic the day before booking. Hospitalizations Patients who present with flu symptoms are invited to contact the attending physician for the evaluation of the case and the possible postponement of hospitalization / surgery. Patients with flu-like symptoms are asked to contact the hospital’s attending physician to determine the possible posteponement of hospitalization/surgery. Visits to hospitalized patients We recommend that you limit visits to relatives within the facility. Only one guest at a time is allowed in the patient room, preferably always the same guest. This recommendation is very important for protecting hospitalized patients, as well as for protecting visitor’s health.
